Vacation Bible School<\/strong>. Plan to sign your children or grandchildren up for Vacation Bible School. This year it will be on July 22 and 23 mornings. See the June newsletter for more information about VBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sewing Circle<\/strong>: We are completing many quilts. For the summer, we are meeting only on the fourth<\/strong> Wednesday month to assemble and tie Lutheran World Relief quilts. If you would like to help, please check us out on one of our sewing days in our sewing room located at the southwest corner of the lower level of Grace. No experience or special abilities are needed!!! In addition, the sewing circle is always in need of new or used sheets or light-weight blankets to use in quilt assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lutheran World Relief<\/strong>: Members have been bringing items for Personal Care Kits as well as sheets to be used in the construction of the quilts. It’s not too early to be buying school supplies for the School Kits. Hopefully, some of the Kits will be packed soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the summer progressives, be on the lookout for items for the School Kits. During the month of August we will assemble the kits for Lutheran World Relief. More packing will take place in September. In 2025, we sent 192 quilts, 61school kits, and 101 personal care kits. While we especially concentrate on school kits at the end of summer when school supplies are plentiful, supplies for kits can be brought to the church any time during the year.
